How To Format USB Drive with NTFS File System

In Windows Xp for formatting USB Drive only FAT or FAT32 Option is there if you wish to enable and use NTFS Format Option then continue reading this article.

What are the Advantages Of NTFS?

The advantage of NTFS file system is more security options and fast. Normally USB drive capacity is very small enough that NTFS is not recommended. But, nowadays USB drives are coming with larger capacity also. So we can format USB drive with NTFS to have more security options.

NTFS enabled USB Drives are write-able only on one PC and becomes read only on all other PCs. Hence, we can read and write on our own PC and transfer files to elsewhere without any fear of virus.

In Windows XP, only FAT and FAT32 file systems are available in format options, use the below steps to format in NTFS File System.

• Insert USB drive in your PC.
  
• Go to Device Manager (Start-->Run-->devmgmt.msc)
  
• Select Disk Drives and expand.
  
• Right Click on USB drive and select Properties.
  
• Go to policies tab and select Optimize for performance and press OK.
  
• Now Right click on USB Drive and select Format Option.
  

Now you can have NTFS option there.

Not only Our Teachers , but also several other Factors teach us some valuable information or characters in our day today life. Even situations act as a Teachers for us. One among them is my college life.

College Life....

Whenever college Mid Term or Semester Exam results comes , we will get tensed since punishments are ready for the Failed subjects. Punishments will vary based upon the Performance. Since our MD has the Central Power, he will offer us whatever punishments comes in his mind at that spot. Some look Funny and the rest look awesome. I think I too tasted one among them... So some what managed to complete the course... Felt little bit relaxed.....

Lecturer Life.....

That relaxed mind set vanished from me within three months, since it was the Month I joined the College as Lecturer. That college (Name: Censored) doesn't show any importance on the Students performance , which disturbed their studies too. First Mid term test was just Finished. Before the Exam starts, I informed them about On-The-Spot Correction. In spite of my remembrance , few Students Failed to clear the Subject.

There rose a question , " What else we can do to them other than imposition and Scolding". Immediately there came our College life Hero "Our MD" in my Mind. I Remembered one of this Valuable Lessons " Funny Punishments"...

I asked the Failed Students to go up on Stage and asked others to clap their hands towards the Failures. All remain silent. Again I shouted " if You People don't Clap your Hands means I will add your Names too to that List" nu ... That's all , All Started Clapping... First I Felt happy that I have achieved something nu... But felt Sad for my activities and Called each and every student for Counseling . I trained them for better Performance in the Upcoming Exams.

School Vs College

Since I had served as a Teacher for the Higher Secondary Students and as a Lecturer for the College Students, i think i have the experience to write such a post.

Well, the Factors that i consider while comparing these two Categories
were Mode of Study, Behavior, Dress Code and Punctuality.

School:

Usually i will be free on Saturdays, So i planned to take classes for Higher Secondary students. The first week i went to the School ( Government School) just with a Pen in my Bike. When i entered into the Campus of the School itself, Some Students Raised their hands and Saluted me. I was totally Surprised of this attitude because even i too didn't do like that during my school days. When i entered into the Class room all Got up and Wished me. I was so Impressed on that and Said " Please be Seated".. These are the Words i used first as a Teacher. But being Tamil Medium Students They Stood as such. I understood their Lack of English Knowledge , so i Continued " Utkaarunkappa".. Now they Sat with Silence.
All 56 people are present.

Next, All came in Uniforms. Neatly Combed Hairs, Books and Note Books. Till, i finished the class no one opened his mouth. They Sit like a Statue. I confirmed myself that they didn't understand anything from my Teaching nu. Later, I explained the Concepts again and now Somewhat satisfied with it. Again, after the Class is over, they stood up and Said " Nanri iyya".

College :

My first Experience of Lecturer post is on 21.08.08. When i entered the Classroom, no one Stood up. Shocking !!!! Each one came in Different Dresses. I know that college life will be similar to this because i too finished my Graduation Recently. I saw only a Few members were present inside the Classroom.Fine.. I started to take attendance. " Roll no 1".. Silence Everywhere...Again i Asked them " Who is Roll no 1". One Boy Raised his hand. I thought that he is Roll no 1. nu... So i marked Roll.no 1 as present. But after few seconds he said " Sir, i am the Class rep.. Roll. no 1 is absent "nu.. My Log book Markings Started with Scribbling. Cha... These Fellows are really Half Minded.

All with different Hair Styles, if i ask them , they say " Fashion Sir"... More talkative during Class hours.. and will say " Yes sir, we understand everything", even though they understand nothing ...

Now i am thinking, School People are thousand times better than College Students .... What u think?????

2. வெறும் எலிமென்ட்டரி ஸ்கூல் டீச்சர் ஆக வேலை பார்த்தவர் , இந்தியா வில் உள்ள மூட நம்பிக்கைகளை பயன் படுத்தி , இன்று பல கோடி ரூபாய்க்கு முதலாளி.....

3. கையெழுத்து கூட போட தெரியாத சாதாரண "கைநாட்டு" கேசு இன்று 4-5 காலேஜுக்கு சேர்மன்.......

4. கஷ்டப்பட்டு இரவு பகல் பார்க்காமல் படித்து முடித்த டிகிரி ஸெர்டிஃபிக்கேட்ஸ் ஐ, வேலை இல்லாத காரணத்தால் அடகு கடையில் இருக்கிறது...

5. ஒரு 300 பேருக்கு வேலை குடுக்க , 4000 ஏக்கர் விவசாய நிலங்களை கையகப்படுத்துதல்...

6. இங்கே சில விவசாயிகள் உண்பதற்க்கே உணவு இல்லை, ஆனால் வெளிநாட்டு "நடிகரை" வரவேர்க்க 10 கோடி தண்டம்........

7. சினிமா நடிகரால் நமக்கு ஒன்றும் வர போவது இல்லை.. ஆனால், எத்தனை போஸ்டர்கள் நம் ரசிகர்கள் மூலமாக.... கட் அவுட்டுக்கு வேஸ்ட் பண்ணும் "பாலை" , ஏழைக்கு கொடுத்தால் புன்னியமாவது வந்து சேரும்...

8. எத்தனை கட்சிகளடா, அதில் தான் எத்தனை கொடிகளடா??? "ஏழைக்கு உடுக்க உடை இல்லை... ஆனால் சிலை திறப்பு விழாவுக்கு வருகிற நம்ம தலைவரை வரவேற்க எத்தனை "பொன்னாடைகள்"???

9. பதவிக்கு ஆபத்து வந்து விடுமோ என பயப்படும் அரசியல்வாதி, சொந்த முடிவு எடுக்க, அனைத்து கட்சி கூட்டத்தை கூட்டுகிறார்...

10. அஹிம்சை வழியில் போராடும் மக்களுக்கு "லத்தி" அடி, ரவுடிஸம் பண்ணும் அரசியல்வாதிகளுக்கு சல்யுட்.... என்ன செய்கிறது சுப்ரீம் கோர்ட்???

Side business ah, Thari(Weeving).. Job of my dad is to delever the Completed Dhotis to Particular Agent..He will give some amount..What my Father will do is, " He will take 10 % of the Amount and give the rest to My thatha.", My thatha too know it..

After marriage , My Mom too added to that Gang.. But Due to some internal Politics of my Father's Athai, Both my mom and Dad came out from That house...

They Stayed in a Small Hut with 3 side walls... One side is damaged because of rain.. many multi personalities(Insects) will come inside the house via that way....
Some times Snakes too will come.. I myself had seen it...
My mother asked his elder brother to give them Land to Stay in Parukkal Graamam. But that selfish Fellow, eventhough own a lot of Lands, showed a land which is faraway from the village, where no one will come...

Then My Mother planned to Shift the residence from Parukkal Graamam to Melmaruvathur.. Note that she didnt have a single rupee in hand.. Her younger brother owns a hotel there. My Father and My mother joined as employees in that hotel.. My mother said " Naan thaan Kazhta paduraen..unga Sontha machaan kadaila maanam poga Koodaathu"... So my father kept a Small Stall infront of my uncles Hotel..

Kadai saamaan kalai Store panna , Bunk(Poti kadai Box) Thaevai patuthu... so with Some amount in hand he went to Acharapakkam to by it.. The Fact here is My elder uncle(That Land Lord Villan)owns a Bunk ... He is standing Opposite to the Road and sent his servent alone to sell the Bunk.. My mom Standing along with my brother and myself (in her Hip) in Hot sun.. "Veetuku Vaayaama" nu oru vaarthaiku kooda Yen uncle koopidalai..

Again the Turning Point.....

Once again a Blow to my Parents... My uncle Got married(Second Wife) ... She asked my uncle to Give the Space infront of hotel to her brother to keep a Stall... Athanaala,

Now Look the situation.......

1. No House to Stay...
2. No money to Start any Business..
3. No Relatves to care us...It was like a Situation staying in lone island...

Once again a Turning point in Positive Direction.....

My mom went to Adigalar Father... " That time this temple was popular but not upto the mark. Adigalar Father Gave 500 rs to my mother and asked her to start a Tea Stall... My mom buyed a Bench and Stove + one milk Vessel + one Dozen Glasses ..

Avolo thaan investment...

First A.Ravichandran Sir(Now Mailam College Principal) , That time Worked as Asst.prof Civil Department.. Changed his Account from my uncles Machan Stall to our Stall.. He Drank One Cup of Coffee and Gave 50 rs.. That time 50 rs is a Huge amount..

Followed him, All Students From my Uncle Hotel Shifted their account to our stall.. Each Gave whatever amount they had...

One month past... There is only one tea stall in mmr .. That is ours.. All Temple Pilgrims will come and drink tea in our shop alone..

There is a Porampoku land ( Waste Land) in SVS nager..( It is 10 feet left to our current palace).
We built a small hut there with red soil... The roof is made of Cocanut tree Branches..

Rainy Season:

That Hut will Loose his Walls whenever rainy season comes.. Rain Water will come inside the Hut.. Even Snakes... since no other Houses in SVS Nager at that time.. See We are the pioneer here..

And after a Year, All College Students asked My parents to Start a Hotel.. As per their Request my mom started a Mess(Mini Hotel with Account System).. A mass of 80 students joined ... Note that all Students had their previous accounts in My Uncle Hotel..So my Uncle went to Acharapakkam and Kept a hotel there... So the only vegetarian hotel before 19 years in MMR is ours...

My Brother Joined UKG(DOB 1984) and Myself(DOB 1986) in LKG an St.Josephs Matriculation School..(That time our school has no Higher Secondary Standards)..

If more packets are in my hand means , i too will take some packets to sell it in the opposite direction of my brother.. Finally we will get around 30 rs as gain per day... But we will give it to my mother.. Because antha Amounta vachu enna panrathunu theriyaathu...

Daily Schooluku en Annan Kaiya pudichu kittu thaan Povaen.. T 19 Bus at 8.20 am will be suitable to reach school at time.. If we left it, then 8.30 bus pidichi epadiyum Schooluku time kulla poiduvom.....school Starts at 8.40 am.

In between Gap la , Schoola Cultural Programmes , Annual Day, Sports Day nu Nadakum.. Naraya thadava G.K la Prize vaangi irukaen... Running Race la Second prize oru dhadava vaanginatha naabagam..

8 th standard:

Summer vantha Road sidela, Pananga(Nungu) vetuvaanga.. Antha pananga vooda outer layers ah apudiyae roadla vitutu poiduvaanga.. Naanum enga ammavum atha collect panni , Kaayavachu, mootaila katti eduthu kittu varuvom...

Naan eduthuku 8 th Standard nu specifica mention pannaen theriyuma.. Solraen..
Raja ram nu oru master irunthaaru... Avaru Chemistry handle pannaru.. Oru dhadava Avar Class test vachapa, Naan Copy adichu maatikitaen... Enna Correspondent kitta Kooti pogavaa nu vaerupaethinan.. En kooda padicha girls ellam pazham.. Orae padipu padipu thaan... Paaka etho onnu rendu thaan sumaara irukum..Mathathellem poota case u..

9 th Standard la veetla en vaelai enna theriyuma.. Morning aana "Poori" thayaarikanum.. But Creation and Development naanga thaan.... Kadaila Chatni kaali aagiduchina , naan illa enga amma araipom.. Ulunda vadai saeya kadailayae "oral"( Grainder) vachi araipaen... Athu ellam Oru kaalam...

10 th Standard:

Intha Time la unmaiya Naan konjam Overa thaan Padichaen... But Public examla Question papera paatha pothu thaan therinjuthu naan Romba kammiya padichu irukaen nu... Sari, sidela namma pasanga thaanae exam ezhuthu raanga kaetukallaam nu irunthaen.. Exactly i think it was maths II paper...I asked one boy to show the Answer.. Yaena Avan konjam nalla padipaan.. School Rank vangurathula avanum Race la irunthaan...Aana antha Dabur man seriousa mudichutu Line potu avan papera azhagu padithukittu irunthaan... Sema Kadupu yenakku... Yaena, Avan mudichutaan...Naan onnum theriyaama Thadavikitu irukaen.. Sari Naama kuduthu vachathu avolo thaanu ninaichaen...
